A Blessing

Lila woke up and darted out bed....she looked around her quarters for her journal. Where could it be asked Lila with a voice so full of excitment. Ah, there ye be old friend of mine she smiled..looking to the ground she notices that her two kittens Lerick, and Daggie are sleeping upon it. Gently, Lila picks both of the kittens up andhugs them....how are ye both this fine morn lil ones? Today is a very special day....we need to ready ourselves and set off for our great journey. Lerick climbed up upon Lila's shoulder snuggling into her long red hair, while Daggie playfully ran around hitting his paws at her feet. Lila picked up Daggie and held him so close to her....oh, how I feel so blessed to have found ye and Lerick that day. Feeling Lerick wrapping into her hair, Lila gently took him from her shoulders and placed both him and Daggie back down to eat their breakfast. Now ye both be good while I finish getting ready, we have something very important to do today lil ones.

Lila walked over to her window and opened it up watching the other little animals playing in the early morning light. Oh if only all of the realms could be filled with such love and beauty as is found in Camelot muttered Lila. If only I could make some kind of difference and bring the evil in this world to it's knees and make the beauty of goodness flow. Lila sighs softly knowing that the man she is engaged to is evil. Softly spoken..if he only knew that he need not be evil...that he has a heart of goodness too...Lila takes a few steps, but alas maybe one day I can help him to see this.

Walking to the door Lila takes Lerick and Daggie with her come lil ones we are ready for our journey. Lerick and Daggie look to Lila with eyes of wonder....carefully Lila wraps them up in her cloak so that they will not feel the bitter chill of early spring and they begin their journey. Looking around them the three adventures take in all the beauty that surounds them....oh how I love Camelot lil ones. As if understanding her words, Lerick and Daggie snuggle closer to Lila and show contentment in their eyes. We are here lil ones Lila says cheerfully....tis the place that I found ye both a few weeks ago...and look over there in the grass...Lila's tears begin to fall, there lil ones is yer momma, please understand I wish ye not to leave my side..nor am I turning my backs to either of ye....it's jes yer momma missed ye both so very much and loves ye both such as I do. Lerick and Daggie kissed Lila's tear flushed cheeks and hopped down into the grass...looking back at Lila they pause and then turn running towards their mother. Lila stood there alone in the field, knowing that she had done what was best for them. Watching the happiness upon their mothers face, Lila's heart grew strong. Lord Tyr it's so funny sometimes we seem to neglect those little blessings that we have in our lives. We let our minds wander on other things, rather than just stepping back and seeing that around us both those who do good and those who do evil are here and a part of our lives...making us who and what we are. We are all made up of memories, the silly things we do or say...the learning we do to grow and those things should never be forgotten, nor should those people in our lives.

So tis on this ST. Patricks Day I wish to tell my family of KORT and to all among NW realms the blessing that once was told to me...may it always give ye strength and courage to always do what is right and may ye all always see those lil blessings that are in yer lives.
