A Poem for Ldy.

This be a rare thing for me to do, so I'd though I'd share this poem I wrote to LdyDrkHawk with yas. Maybe it might help some understand what I see in this particular drow. :)

There was a mist in the air, on this fullmoon lit night,
I slowly walked forward, my mind deep in thought.
Down a path I knew well, to a place far away,
a small forrest clearing, seeking some peace.

As I arrived here this night, a strange feeling passed through me.
I looked all around, but no one was there.
A dream it must be, though to me seemed so real,
so I sat down and pondered, my mind wandered off.

As I drifted off further, my senses perked up.
There is someone else here, though they elude my sight.
I call out in the darkness, toward the brush at my right,
"Please come out so I may see thee, out here in the light."

I waited a moment, and then a Ldy came out.
A sight to behold, such beauty and grace,
her skin like obsidian, hair white as snow,
she moved to the clearing, greeting each other there.

As we talked through the night, about things far and wide,
I was more affected each moment, by her presence with me here.
I asked for a favor, a walk through the wood,
and I offered my arm, which she accepted this night.

We walked slowly forth, down a path I knew not.
Our thoughts seemed like words, though we did not speak.
Until we came to a place, that I'd never been,
she said, "I must leave you now here, for home calls me now".

My heart sank at this thought, I did not want this to end,
then I looked at her face, and she felt that way too.
We then said our farewells, and I pulled her real close,
for a kiss on the lips, and a hug for goodnight.

I then watched her depart, and fade into the night
my thoughts were of her, and what happened with us
though our differences are vast, and our worlds far apart
til the time we meet again, 2 hearts in the night.
