Ways to Earn Shields:

1) NW News: Members having articles published in the NW News will recieve Shields awarded by the Scribe. (Scribes discretion)

2) PvP Ladder and Events: Members participating in the NWN Ladders will recieve Shields in relation to performance on that ladder. Champion will decide how many Shields based on best record, highest rank and most active.

3) Donation to the Vault: Members will recieve a percentage of the estimated value of the item donated. Most likely 20% rounded to the nearest Shield. If by some chance someone wants to donate an actual Pearl Item the payment will be 200% of the listed price.

4) Role-Playing: On nights of Kort gathers and formal events Shields will be awarded for the best role-play and participation. These events include.. Page/Squire nights, Kort nights, Tours containing at least 3 Korters (1 officer), and any gatherings that are pre-determined. The judge of the role play shall be officers present at the gathering. If no officers are present then judgement falls upon the highest ranking Knight. (10 shields to be divided amongst the best Role Players)

5) Events: Special events may award Shields as prizes for winning or participation.

6) Booths: Hehh, we all know that routine. Ya win da booth ya get the Shields!

7) Posts: A biggy here! Shields will be rewarded for good quality posts and stories. This will be at the discresion of the Scribe, and brown nosing may help!!

8) Event Planning: Member involved in planning or co-ordinating events such as tours and grand adventures may recieve Shields as a reward for there efforts.
