Gm and Agm = unlimited supply to destribute for booths, events, ect.
Mage = 50 Shields to reward hard working ambassadores.
Champion = 10 Shields per ladder to reward members on each ladder.
Scribe = 100 Shields to reward Posts and story lines on the public boards. Another 10 for any NW News article posted.
Initiatore = 50 shields to donate to whom ever he likes?
Weapons Master = Unlimited supply to purchase items from members at 1/3 there listed value.
Gm & AGM: These 2 will distribute Shields in reasonable amount to anyone wishing to have an event or contest. Persons wishing to get Shields must Email both GM and AGM as well as CC the letter to Items Plan & the Scribe.
Mage: The Mage will use his Shields to reward Ambassadores for work involving InterGuild Role Play storylines or events. For the time being these duties will be taken by the AGM (BlackCoral).
Scribe: The scribe will be incharge of watching the KORT public boards and the NW News for posts, articles, and stories worthy of acknowledgement. As well as helping with the official record keeping for the guild. He and IP will work together to keep track of totals and purchases.
Champion: The champion will follow all PvP ladders and keep track of Korters progress on these ladders. The most active and highest ranked on each seperate ladder will recieve Shields. In the case of team ladders each member of the teams should recieve 5 shields.
Initiatore: The Init. should note any active members of kort in the Page Squire programs. This doesn't mean he MUST reward anyone. Only that he has an allowance wich will allow him to reward new player tours and such as he sees fit.
Weapons Master: The weapons master will be in charge of Purchasing items from Korters that wish to sell them for 1/3 there listed shield price.
All officers should Email The Weapons Master when distributing Shields to Kort members. This will allow him to keep records of who has how many Shields. Anyone wishing to know there "total's" can then E-mail the WM and get a net worth response with in a few days. Prices of items will stay the same unless supply and demand changes, at wich time the Weapons Master will post any changes made. All items are on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Meaning the first person to Email a request for a given item will get that item. All other requests for said item will be denied until the vaults aquire another item to replace it. Korters wishing to purchase an item should E-mail the Weapons Master, who will then set a date and time for pick up (usually this will be a catch me in the game policy). A list of available items will be posted monthly in the "Armory" folder and on the public Kort boards. Since the success of this plan depends on the availability and need for items on the list we ask that Korters refrain from giving away valuable items to squire and pages. We ask instead that in the spirit of this plan you "sell" your item to the vaults at 1/3 it's retail value. That will then make that item available for purchase by others. We realize that many Knight like to donate there valuable items to squires and pages... The idea behind this plan is to encourage members to participate and become active, and at the same time gain Shields towards items they may need. Any new member that is in need of weapons or armor that is on this list can quickly and easily obtain those items by earning shields via the many ways available. Now that this plan is in effect only items on this plan will be accepted by the Weapons Master. Any items not listed on the price list are best used as gifts to new players. If anyone has any questions pertaining to this new plan please E-mail Sir Corw1n or with your concerns. I'm sure there are some loop holes in the plan at this early stage. Nothing's perfect after all;-)
Ways to Earn Shields:
1) NW News: Members having articles published in the NW News will recieve Shields awarded by the Scribe. (Scribes discretion)
2) PvP Ladder and Events: Members participating in the NWN Ladders will recieve Shields in relation to performance on that ladder. Champion will decide how many Shields based on best record, highest rank and most active.
3) Items Donations: The revised retail price for all items donated to the vaults is now 1/3 the shield value of the item. About a 10% increase. Only items on the Shield Plan will be bought and sold by the Weapons Master. All other items found by members are theirs to do with as they please. (As are any shield plan items he member does not wish to donate). NOTE: Pearl items will be negoitiated between the donater and Weapmons Master for cost and price.
4) Role-Playing: Anytime Kort members get together is a special occassion. Often times tho, roleplaying makes such events even more fun for those around! For this reason, anytime a group of Kort members (Knights, Squires, and pages of all shapes and sizes) gets together... Special notice should be given to anyone showing good roleplaying style or ability. Also with game problems of late.. it's becoming a trend for many folks to meet in private rooms to roleplay storylines. On any night that a member shows good roleplaying style, that member should be rewarded for their efforts. For the most part officers are expected to do the rewarding.. however it's not always possible for officers to be present during impromptue meetings. In such cases the ability to reward shields will fall on any Knight of rank hat is there. The knight must be Errant or higher in rank and present during the gathering. If that Knight feels shields are deserved by an individual she/he may then Email the Weapons Master with a description of the gathering and roleplay performace given, and who gave it. In such a way we can promote roleplay as it was meant to be used in Never Winter Nights.
5) Events: Special events may award Shields as prizes for winning or participation.
6) Booths: Hehh, we all know that routine. Ya win da booth ya get the Shields!
7) Posts: A biggy here! Shields will be rewarded for good quality posts and stories. This will be at the discresion of the Scribe, and brown nosing may help!!
8) Event Planning: Member involved in planning or co-ordinating events such as tours and grand adventures may recieve Shields as a reward for there efforts. (note: 5 and 6 are examples of events that need be planned)
9) There is nothing keeping Korters from bartering with eachother. For instance... if a Knight wishes to reward his squire for a perticular quest or deed, he may pay him with shields from his personal account. Or, say a squire is 10 shields short of the 100 needed to buy those shiney new ac3 bracers. He could barrow or earn those 10 from a fellow Korter. Such transactions are actually incouraged as it helps ditribute shields equally. To perform such a transaction the 2 members involved need only E-mail Items Plan and the Scribe so they record the transaction.
